End of Lunar Near Year Celebration for Year of the Rat

Traditionally, Koreans will write their name and birthdate on a piece of paper and throw it into the bon fire, hoping that all their bad fortune or sorrows of the past year will not be carried into the new year. These pictures are taken from our apartment balcony.
